Grand Theft Auto 5 now holds the record for biggest UK games launch

Grand Theft Auto 5 has become the UK’s largest video game launch, according to GfK Chart Track, besting previous record holder Call of Duty: Black Ops. GTA 5 sold 1.57 million units in first day sales, generating £65 million in revenue. Black Ops sold 1.41 million units and garnered £58 million in sales its first day in November 2010.
