Gran Turismo 5 gets free Corvette Stingray DLC
Gran Turismo 5's mysterious Corvette prototype takes its wrapping off this week, revealing the all-new Stingray.
The Stingray is the seventh generation of Corvette and is set for reveal at the 2013 Detroit motor show today. ThePlayStation Blog reports the new vehicle will be added as free DLC from from 8:00PM GMT on January 15.
The in-game reveal is due to a collaboration between Polyphony Digital and General Motors, which quite please team lead Kazunori Yamauchi.
“The Polyphony team has had an unforgettable experience getting to know the Corvette Stingray, inside and out, and bringing it into Gran Turismo 5. We’re excited to share our experience with fans and let them feel, explore and drive the Corvette in a way that wasn’t possible until now," he said.
All six previous generations of the Corvette have been in previous versions of Gran Turismo. Screens and video below.
