GTA 5 referenced in latest AMD Catalyst driver, PC petition reaches 609,239 signatures
Gran Theft Auto 5 PC rumors keep popping up, and now a Guru3D member has found a reference to the game in the latest AMD Catalyst driver.
Last week, sources close to Eurogamer told the site the game would land on PC in Q1 2014, and back in August Nvidia’s senior director of investor relations, Chris Evenden, noted a PC version of GTA 5 during a financial call, but the firm said this was made in error.
Earlier last week, Intel executive Chris R. Silva said he expects Grand Theft Auto 5 to come to PC eventually, suggesting the PC version was excluded at launch due to “someone” paying to keep it on consoles.
Supposedly, a the source code for the PC and a PlayStation 4 version, can also be found in the Xbox 360 version, and as of today, 609,239 people have signed the Change.org petition which asks Rockstar to release the title on PC.
