Gold Star My Heart pack lands next week for Rock Band 3

Rock Band 3 players are sure to be scratching their heads at a couple of the offerings on slate in the Gold Star My Heart Pack next week, starting with one of the "most requested" songs for the series: Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up."

If the Rick Roll meme ruined that bit for you, there's always the song radio stations across America overplay on a weekly basis - Poison's "Every Rose Has Its Thorn". At least US radio is consistent, if not downright odd 90% of the time.

There's also Mr. Big's acoustic "feel good" 1991 ballad "To Be With You" on slate and for those who like punishing their vocal chords trying to match the awesome chops of Ann Wilson, Heart’s 1987 hit from the big hair days, “Alone,” is also available as part of the pack.

As usual, the pack will run you the $6.99 mark on the usual consoles, with Pro Guitar and Pro Keyboard offerings costing you a bit extra. Each can be purchased individually as well.

These tracks will be available on February 14, and on PS3 the follwoing day in Europe as part of the usual PSN update.
