Here's how Godfall uses the PS5's DualSense controller

Godfall may be more fun on PS5 because of how it utilises the DualSense controller.

Now that more and more people actually managed to spend a bit of time with the new DualSense controller for PS5, all of the developer talk about utilising its features in various ways is starting to make sense.

Godfall developer Counterplay has explained how the game uses haptics to allow players to feel the weapon they're wielding. The level of response in haptics depends on the weapon class you're using. Even individual attacks will feel different as you perform them.

This feeling will be particularly evident as you switch weapons, as each of them belongs to a different class.

"The Dual Blades might feel quick and nimble, whereas the Warhammer will feel powerful and weighty," the developer wrote.

"This feature alone makes playing Godfall on PS5 feel like a whole new experience."

Counterplay also recently said that Godfall won't force you to grind activities you don’t like to get crafting materials.

The promising action game requires an always-online internet connection, and will be available on PC and PS5 November 12.
