God of War concept art shows radically different Kratos

What might have been! Concept artist Charlie Wen went through several designs before settling on God of War's distinctive protagonist, as revealed by a stash of concept art.
Rejected designs include a masked Kratos with what looks like dreadlocks, and a heavily-armoured type with an almost medieval take on a classical helmet.
Siliconera unearthed the artworks on Wen's blog, along with various treatments of Ares and Medusa.
