The God and Fate Revolution Paradox, Project D, Project Arcadia confirmed

Following magazine leaks earlier in the week, Nippon Ichi brought its 20th Anniversary conference forward by one day to officially unveil The God and Fate Revolution Paradox and two more new games.

We're calling it The God and Fate Revolution Paradox but we don't have an official title yet; that's just a translation of the Japanese name, Kamisama to Unmei Kakumei Paradox. Local press is calling it "Kamipara" for short and this is a thing we have hastily embraced.

The core Disgaea development team is behind the new RPG. Its protagonist is a young boy who suddenly becomes a god, and is given seven angels to assist him in granting people's prayers. Nippon Ichi didn't give release information, but the leaks make it pretty clear this one's headed to PS3.

Two other new games were announced but not detailed - Project Arcadia is a side-scrolling action game with princesses (although we don't know in what context), and Project D is an even more mysterious effort expected to please old school Nippon Ichi fans. Oh, really? Platforms were not confirmed for either title.

Nippon Ichi is also producing a Vita title for its 20th anniversary, Special Report Division, which hits Japan in August.

Thanks Andriasang, Gematsu.
