GLL kicks off season one with $50,000 league for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
A $50,000 PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds tournament will be hosted through G:loot's Global Loot League.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds players who think they have what it takes, can try their hand at winning a share of the $50,000 prize pool from Global Loot League (GLL).
GLL will launch a full, regular season featuring 80 of the best teams in the world with qualifiers starting February 2 and running until the final week of April. Anyone can join.
“Now anyone, anywhere in the world will have a chance to qualify for the regular season with all the pro teams, we're also proud to announce that there will be much more at stake than just the glory,” said Simon Sunden, VP and head of esports at GLL.
“All the regular season matches will be played every Wednesday both for the European and North American divisions. Everything will be broadcasted live from Stockholm in a brand-new studio."
The GLL match dates will be broadcasted on Twitch February 14, 21, 28 and March 7, 14, 21. The Grand Finals will take place on the weekend of April 22-24.
G:loot is a Stokholm-based gaming platform that launched in 2017, and provides players with an esports platform with tournaments through Global Loot League.
