Ghost Recon pitch in the works at Ubisoft Motion Pictures

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is the next Ubisoft property lined up for Hollywood treatment.

The LA Times reports Ubisoft Motion Pictures boss Jean-Julien Baronnet is currently working on a Ghost Recon pitch to shop around Hollywood studios.

The Motion Pictures division works closely with film production to protect and nourish Ubisoft's properties, and secured deals for Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell in 2012.

Ghost Recon is just one of Ubisoft's multiple Tom Clancy licenses. The franchise has produced nine games since its debut in 2001, across multiple platforms including tactical 3DS effort Shadow Wars. The latest core entires are 2012's Future Soldier and 2007's Advanced Warfighter 2, as well as free-to-play multiplayer-oily affair Ghost Recon Online.
