Ghost Recon Breakpoint owners can invite friends to play for free starting now
Ubisoft has revealed two new ways it's hoping will convince you to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Hot off the heels of the game's recent free weekend, Ubisoft has announced the Ghost Recon Breakpoint Friend Pass, and a limited trial.
The Friend Pass allows owners of the game on PC, PS4 or Xbox One to invite up to three friends to join their game completely free. Those invited will just need to download the trial version (essentially the full version). You can only invite players on the same platform, but there are no other limitations as far as content.
Anything the host has access to can also be played by their friends, provided they're all connected to the same session. The Friend Pass promotion is live now all the way until June 16.
The trial you'll be downloading also allows you to play on your own for up to six hours. The time you spend playing with a friend who invited you won't count towards those six hours, which is good news.
The even better news is that the trial will always be available, and you can download it from Uplay, Epic Games Store, or the PlayStation and Xbox Stores on consoles.
