Ghost of Tsushima Will Absolutely Have a Photo Mode
It's kind of Sucker Punch's thing.

This year at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), we got another taste of Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch Productions. Now we have an idea of how the game plays and what exactly we'll be doing on the island of Tsushima. Since Ghost of Tsushima doesn't have a release date, the developer is being cagey about specific features, but we do know one that's making the cut.
In a demo of the game at E3, Sucker Punch developers made extensive use of the game's Photo Mode to discuss certain sections. Sucker Punch co-founder Brian Fleming confirmed the mode will be in Ghost of Tsushima.
"We invented Photo Mode! Second Son, man," said Fleming. "Of course we're having Photo Mode."
Fleming is indeed correct. Having a Photo Mode has become more common for games, especially on Sony's platform where titles like God of War and Uncharted: Lost Legacy utilize the feature. But the first major one was Infamous: Second Son back in 2014., as Sucker Punch wanted a way to show off the power of the somewhat-new PlayStation 4. Honestly, every game needs a Photo Mode.
Ghost of Tsushima does not currently have a release window.
