Geralt motion capture actor shows off his sword skills in The Witcher/ Fruit Ninja crossover video
Geralt of Rivia motion capture actor joins professional artisan armourer for a bout of real-life Fruit Ninja.
Witcher fan and professional artisan armourer, Alan Padziński, has teamed up with Geralt's motion capture actor, Maciej Kwiatkowski, to take on some seriously ticked off fruit in a collaboration that showcases the two men's sword-fighting skills, and hatred of all things sweet and juicy.
Padziński is a HEMA instructor (Historical European Martial Arts) and sword performer, and makes some snazzy-looking swords and armour to boot.
The Fruit Witcher joins a plethora of instructional sword-fighting videos on his channel, but pays homage to the game with some cosplaying, special effects, and a guest appearance by Maciej Kwiatkowski, the man behind Geralt's moves.
"A lone Witcher investigates a monster-infested riverbank... little does he know, how insidious enemy he's going to encounter," reads the video description.
Padziński's Witcher slices up his fair share of fruit before casting a sign when he gets overrun by a few bad apples. Maciej Kwiatkowski enters the fray with a flying kick and a swing of a sword, because why not.
Reinvigorated, the two set to cutting up their foe into bite-sized pieces.
The gorgeous sword featured in the video is The Lupine, crafted by Padziński. You can visit his store to order your own if you anticipate any particularly tough jams in your immediate future that require more than a slice of toast.
