Gears Tactics is not dead
Gears Tactics was among a host of Gears of War games revealed at last year's E3. This year, however, it's been MIA.
We got a new trailer for Gears Pop at E3 this week - not to mention Gears 5, but Microsoft didn't even mention Gears Tactics. Thankfully, the game is in fact still in development.
Speaking to Kotaku this year's show, The Coalition studio head Rod Fergusson confirmed that work continues on Gears Tactics, with more to be shared later.
"Last year we wanted to really talk about all three games and show that Microsoft is tripling down on the Gears of War franchise, but now that we’ve had that we’re really trying to make sure it’s not always this three-pack… We’ll talk about Gears Tactics later," said Fergusson.
