Gearbox is working on Borderlands 3 performance problems
Borderlands 3 developer Gearbox has confirmed it is indeed working on improving game performance and addressing quality of life issues.
The Borderlands 3 developer issued a Tweet earlier this week on its official Twitter account, saying that it's been monitoring all feedback.
"We are working on performance and quality of life improvements and will have more to share soon," the developer said. Unfortunately, no specific details about which of the game's long list of problems are being addressed.
Borderlands 3 suffers from performance issues on all platforms. PS4 Pro and Xbox One X both offer performance modes that aim for 60fps. Unfortunately, the game rarely hits that target, according to reports. Players are instead switching to the 30fps visual mode for a more stable framerate.
The PC version has a whole host of new and returning problems. Among them are random stuttering, crashes and uneven performance. An Epic Store bug caused some players to lose their progress, but has seemingly now been fixed.
Hopefully, Gearbox will be ready to share more specifics sooner rather than later. If you're enjoying Borderlands 3 yourself, catch up on our recent guide updates.
