Gearbox releases a third teaser, also for Borderlands
Borderlands developer Gearbox has dropped yet another teaser for its PAX East panel.
On Twitter, the Gearbox official account published a pixelated version of what's definitely a Borderlands screenshot. The caption reads, "Time to tease another game," which means this is a third reveal lined up for the studio's PAX panel.
As you can see, there's very little doubt that we're looking at a Borderlands image, but which one? Most likely, Borderlands 2, as the shot shows the Shrine of the Gunbringer at the game's Bloodshot Ramparts area. Maya, the game's Siren class, is seen standing in front of it, which is another tell.
Since Borderlands 2 is already available on all platforms except Switch, the safest guess is that Gearbox is working on a Switch port of the game - maybe even more Borderlands games.
Gearbox initially posted a teaser of what many perceived to be a Borderlands 3 announcement, which was then followed up by a teaser for a different game, also to be revealed at PAX.
The studio's PAX East panel is scheduled for March 28.
