Gearbox has revealed three more Battleborn characters
Three new heroes for Gearbox Software's Battleborn have been announced, and each are playable in both competitive matches and Story Mode.
Shayne and Aurox are a combo team, and the other two are Whiskey Foxtrot and Kelvin.
Story Mode – which can be played single-player, co-op up to 5 players, or 2-player split-screen.
Here's a short description of each provided by 2K Games in the press release.
Whiskey Foxtrot: Using scavenged armor and jerry-rigged weapons, everything about Whiskey Foxtrot just seems “off,” but his homemade UPR-SL3 tactical rifle, sticky bombs, and scrap canon can help turn the tide of any battle.
Kelvin: At first glance, this hero appears to be a hulking ice golem, but is in fact an entire microorganism civilization that, together, form a single sentient being that smashes, chomps and freezes its enemies for the survival of the species.
Shayne and Aurox: Shayne was already a bratty teenage girl at the end of the universe with nothing to lose, but her bond with the space creature known as Aurox has made her nearly unstoppable. Joined at the hip, these symbiotic furies strive to utterly demolish their foes through a mixture of brute force and stealth.
You can find more information on each of the characters through the official website, where you can also view gameplay footage of each.
Battleborn will launch with 25 playable heroes on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 3.
