GDC Play adds Facebook gardening, Game of Thrones

GDC Play, a new GDC initiative to allow developers to highlight their games to "key decision makers," will be graced by 10-20 Media and Facebook game GardenQuest, as well as Cyanide Studios with A Game of Thrones and more.

Social gaming startup 10-20 Media will host a booth to showcase GardenQuest, a 3D Facebook title about gardening. It will include a virtual economy with real-world gardening brands and retailers givem the ability to poke consumers with "branded virtual goods, rewards, and more." The company is currently looking for partners.

Austrialian developer Brawsome will alos be on hand to demo the PC adventure game MacGuffin’s Curse, which is described as a "point-and-click title for a modern audience."

Flight-sim and game engine developer 777 Studios will be showing Rise of Flight as well as its Digital Nature game engine.

Finally, Cyanide Studios will discuss its A Game of Thrones titles, its Blood Bowl game based on GamesWorkshop's tabletop title, and Rackham's Confrontation. The firm also plans to pitch new IPs to publishers at the event.
