Gamingo halts development of its post-apocalyptic MMO shooter Grimlands
Gamingo has announced it has halted development its post-apocalyptic MMORPG shooter Grimlands.
The game took place in a "hostile world" of the same name, where players must survive against "psychopaths, terrifying mutants and roving bands of outlaws."
According to the firm, the "intensified focus on publishing and distribution and reduction of high-risk development projects" was the reason development was ditched.
The game was still in need of "substantial additional funds to be brought to completion," and it isn't the only game which may be on the chopping block.
According to gamingo: "Other games in the development pipeline are to be critically assessed anew according to opportunities and risks."
