GameStick final controller design revealed, docking station detailed

PlayJam has been hard working hard on its GameStick controller. The final design was revealed today, alongside details of the docking station.

A number of changes have been implemented after feedback was provided by Kickstarter contributors. Visually, the design is curvier than originally planned. The controller, which now houses the GameStick Android console at the back and plugs straight into your TV HDMI port, also received a 32GB MicroSD card slot.

The docking station is shaping up rather nicely. Not only does it charge your controller for wireless use, it also has the capacity to store a 64MB memory card, taking the device's total capacity to 104GB. It supports peripheral hardware including cameras, mice, keyboards and microphones.

Kickstarter appears to have been an excellent choice for PlayJam. The Gamestick project is currently on $515,370, just five times the original goal.
