Gamescom 2012 floorspace upped to 140,000 square metres

Next year's gamescom will be bigger than ever.
MCV reports gamescom 2012 will feature increased exhibition floor space of 140,000 square metres.
This year's event drew so many would-be attendees that the entrances were closed to avoid overcrowding, with thousands left queueing outside. Gamescom venue Koelnmesse's official capacity is 62,000.
The Korean Culture and Content Agency, KOCCA, has been chosen as the event's partner trade body. The UK's TIGA took honours in 2011.
Gamescom 2012 runs from August 15-19, with public days beginning on August 16.
