Gamers Against Bigotry pledge site hacked with 1,500 signatures lost
This is disappointing, friends. After just over a month of constant battle with hackers, Gamers Against Bigotry succumbed to an attack which erased all 1,500 pledges gathered so far.
The organisation was launched ahead of schedule and didn't yet have the security to cope with the bizarre negative reaction of gamers apparently horrified by the thought of wiping out discrimination from games and their communities.
The group is asking for donations to help it beef up its security measures - or even practical help, if you're tech savvy. Read more about the movements goals here.
Thanks, KillScreen.
