GameHorizon acquired by GamesIndustry International

GamesIndustry International has acquired the GameHorizon conference and business network, and is set to reveal details of the 2013 event soon.

Running for five years, GameHorizon is one of Europe's leading game business conferences, attracting high profile names from around the industry to come and discuss the pressing issues of the day. The previous conference featured Eidos life president Ian Livingstone, Unity CEO and co-founder David Helgason and NaturalMotion CEO Torsten Reil.

GameHorizon 2013 will be unveiled and discussed at a networking event held in Newcastle on December 5th in association with Game Republic. We'll have more on the event once the announcement drops.

Rupert Loman, Managing Director of Eurogamer Network Ltd (owners of GamesIndustry International), commented: “GameHorizon has established a reputation for being one of the best venues for games industry executives to hear about the latest developments in the business and network with their peers. We’re excited to be taking on the brand and look forward to announcing our plans for it soon.”
