GAME sales up 28%

GAME's released an interim management statement with a trading update for the 44 weeks to the end of November, with news that sales are up 27.4 percent for the period, while like-for-like sales were up 11.2 percent.
"To date, our customers' spending patterns have remained relatively resilient considering the challenges in the wider economy," noted the statement. "Our previous guidance is unchanged and the Board remains confident of a successful outcome for the year."
GAME will publish its Christmas sales figures on January 13.
