Is Telltale's Game of Thrones the "proper" game fans are desperate for? Not according to Forbes

It's going to be good, but it isn't the game the series deserves, reckons Forbes.

Forbes has said Telltale's Game of Thrones game isn't going to be the "true RPG" fans are hankering after, despite the fact that it's obviously going to be good.

Writer Paul Tassi has even outlined his vision for a fullblood "action RPG" based on Game of Thrones, involving buddy AI and definitely not an MMO stance.

Watch this video to see what he says.

Tassi favours a single-player approach in the vein of Skyrim as opposed to the relatively obvious MMO route Bethesda's wandered down with The Elder Scrolls.

The Telltales Game of Thrones title was announced at the end of last year, will feature “large battles” and will be told “in a Telltale way.”

It's out this year.

Do you agree with Forbes? Is the Telltale game enough, or would you like to see a big budget project like The Witcher or Skyrim based on Game of Thrones?
