Fuudo wins SSFIV AE EVO championship, Daigo beasted
The Beast himself Daigo Umehara lost out on retaining his Street Fighter IV championship for a third time, as Japan's Fuudo took home the crown.
Fuudo took the championship by three sets to nill with Fei Lang against Abdullatif "Brokentier Latif" Alhmili's Crimson Viper.
Daigo, who eventually came fourth, was bested in both the winners and losers brackets by both Latif and overall third-place Poongko, the latter of which perfected him in the second game, second set in their match.
That game will almost certainly go down in EVO history alongside Daigo's legendary comeback against Justin Wong. There's a video of it below.

As for new games, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Street Fighter: Third Strike Online also got showings at the event. There should be footage of those online by now. We'll have them up for you as soon as possible. But here's Soul Calibur V to begin with.
