Funcom confirms lay-offs

Funcom's confirmed to TenTonHammer that it did lose some staff last week, as rumoured.
"We did have some staffing cuts at Funcom this week as well as new positions opening in the organization as part of our ongoing cost based efficiency and performance initiatives that are vital to any business," said a rep.
The firm supposedly dropped 70 percent of its US staff last week, but no figures have been confirmed as yet.
