From now until the end of 2017, there's at least one blockbuster game coming out every week
We've officially entered the busy release season of 2017, and it all starts this week.
Of course, this time of the year has always been known to kick off the release season of the biggest AAA games, but it's extra-special this year.
2017 is arguably the best year of this console generation so far, and we haven't even seen the fall season with its massive launches, big and small. This year is also special for having not one, but two console launches. We've witnessed the unexpected success of the Nintendo Switch in March, and we still have the Xbox One X launch in November to look forward to.
As far as marquee titles, the anticipated return of Assassin's Creed is a hot ticket, as is the big change-up for Call of Duty. In both cases, these are big franchises making unprecedented changes to their core in the hopes of winning back the hearts of their lapsed fans.
And that's not even mentioning massive sequels like The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus and others. Even the Nintendo Switch has its share of hot releases like Super Mario Odyssey, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
All in all, from now until near the end of December, there's at least one blockbuster game releasing every week. See how it's all going to unfold below, or visit our comprehensive release dates list for everything else.
