Friday the 13th stretch goals include Tommy Jarvis, potential to play Pamela Voorhees

The Kickstarter for Friday the 13th: The Game is close to being funded, and if you've been holding out on adding to the pot, maybe some of the stretch goals will sway you.

Stretch goals include many different killing moves, three of which will be added automatically when the game is funded. My personal favorite is the Sleeping Bag Kill. I'm sorry, but if you think zipping yourself up in one will make you magically disappear, you're an idiot and dead wrong. Jason grabs you up and slams you against a tree.

I laughed my butt off when that happened in Friday the 13th: Part 7. The people in the seats in front of me turned around and looked at me like I was some sort of psycho. I laughed even harder.

Anyway...

Other stretch goals include Twitch support, the return of Tommy Jarvis, more weapons and the potential for fans to play none other than the mother who caused it all, Pamela Sue Voorhees.

The game started life as Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp back in late 2014 before being handed the Friday the 13 license after being approached by Sean Cunningham who produced the original film, its sequels, and other horror and non-horror films.

The project currently has $563,605 in pledges thanks to 8,396 backers. It still needs $700,000 to be funded, and there are 14 days left.

Friday the 13th: The Game is being developed for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, for release in fall 2016.
