Free update for Rock Band 4 releases next month

The first major feature update for Rock Band 4 will be released next month.

The December update focuses mostly on competitive and social features, including a new online competitive system called Score Challenges.

It features a live activity feed which shows players what their friends are playing, and allows them to compete with each other for high scores.

The update will also include the "highly requested" Auto-Kick option.

Future content will include "monthly updates of varying scopes," such as a mix of smaller releases focusing on bug fixes, stability improvements.

Larger updates will add new content and full-fledged features, along with working with the community on the creation of future content.

The December update for Rock Band 4 will be a free download and is scheduled to hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 8.
