Fracture documentary to ship with 12-rated Force Unleashed in UK
A BBFC rating of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has shown that a Fracture documentary will ship with the game in the UK.
The footage of the action game is 7.28 minutes long, as you can see after the break.
The news came as part of a BBFC rating for the Star Wars game, which has been given a 12.
We'll drop Activision a mail now to clarify. Fracture has no fixed release date at the moment, and is currently listed as a PS3 and 360 title for "summer". Considering The Force Unleashed is out in September, that's probably a little optimistic.

STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED is the latest game from Lucas Arts set in the Star Wars universe. From a third person perspective, players take on the role of Darth Vader’s secret young apprentice, travelling through space, exploring different planets and encountering adversaries along the way. It was passed ‘12’ for moderate fantasy action violence.
The BBFC’s current ‘PG’ Guidelines state that: ‘moderate violence, without detail, may be allowed if justified by its setting (e.g. historic, comedy or fantasy)’ and armed with a light sabre and the power of the force, the main focus of player activity in the game is combat. Given the well established Sci-Fi fantasy universe in which this combat takes place and given the complete lack of blood or physical injury evident in it, most of the violence is in accord with the ‘PG’. In some of the later levels however, players will encounter Storm-troopers wielding flame-throwers. Although players don’t get to use these flame-throwers themselves, they can be targeted and set on fire by them and the sight of the player character falling to the floor engulfed in flames is better placed at ‘12’.
STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED also has a short documentary about the making of another Lucas Arts game accompanying it, which features infrequent mild language, including singular uses of ‘damn’ and ‘screw’.
