Four Battlefield 3 multiplayer maps detailed

DICE has posted the first entry of a two-part exposé of Battlefield 3's multiplayer maps on the Battlefield Blog. Four of the game's nine multiplayer maps are swhocased, complete with commentary from designer Niklas Åstrand. The remaining five will be outlined tomorrow.

Although Tehran Highway has been seen during the game's beta and E3 showcase, the remaining maps, Damavand Peak, Operation Metro and Operation Firefight, are likely to spark a bit of interest. Click the link above to read all about the four maps, and to check out some frankly beautiful screens.
