Forza Horizon 4 pre-load is now live on PC, Xbox One
Those who pre-purchased Forza Horizon 4 digitally are now able to download the full game ahead of launch.
The Forza Horizon 4 pre-load went live overnight all over the world, offering pre-order customers plenty of time to download the game's files.
Anyone who purchased the game digitally through the store is able to pre-load it, on both PC and Xbox One. The file size varies by platform, but it's still a much smaller download than Forza 7 was at launch.
Download sizes are comparable to Forza Horizon 3 instead. PC has the biggest download (via ResetEra), at 63.73GB. On Xbox One X, you'll be downloading 60.19GB, compared to 56.13GB on the standard Xbox One.
The difference in file size likely has something to do with asset quality, which is going to be noticeably higher on PC, and Xbox One X.
If you want to give Forza Horizon 4 a try, you can do so now using the PC or Xbox One demo. For the full list of cars in the game, check out our guide.
Forza Horizon 4 is out October 2, or September 28 for Ultimate Edition owners on PC, and Xbox One.
