Fortnite's Halloween Event Has Been Revealed: 'Fortnitemares' Starts this Week

Fortnite's Halloween event has been teased over the last week, but today a start date for the event has finally been revealed. 'Fortnitemares' is set to kick off later this week, on October 26.
Just below, you can see the official PS4 event page for the game. While we still don't know all that much about the actual event, we finally know that it'll start later this week, and run until November 4.
Below is one of the enigmatic teases for the Fortnitemares event. We mentioned that we still don't know all that much about the event, as Epic has only released teases like this over Twitter up until now. We don't know if Fortnitemares will take the form of a limited time mode, but it looks like it'll definitely be bringing some new character skins to the game, some of which you can see in the image embedded above.
In other Fortnite-related news, Epic revealed yesterday that the Save the World mode wouldn't be going free-to-play in 2018 as originally planned. While Save the World was meant to be going free at some point in 2018, it's now been postponed to an unknown date next year.
