Fortnite Season 9 could get Battle Pass gifting according to dataminers
Epic Games could be bringing another gifting feature to Fortnite next season.
Fortnite dataminers have found what could be a great addition to the game's gifting feature if it proves to be true. Fortnite news reports that players will soon be able to gift a Battle Pass, and that it's likely to go live in Season 9.
Both @FNBRLeaks and @Guille_GAG have confirmed that the feature is mentioned in the code, but obviously, until Epic makes this official, it's best not to get too excited just yet.
The current Fortnite gifting system first rolled out in November last year and was available for just one week.
Epic reintroduced it at the start of April for a limited time, so if Battle Pass gifting does make its way into the game, it may not be a permanent addition.
In other Fortnite news, rumours of another Avengers crossover have finally been confirmed, with Epic teasing the event on its Twitter account earlier today.
The tweet include a picture of one of Fortnite's characters holding Cap's shield, so we may see Avengers skins or items as well as Thanos when the event kicks off.
From the tweet, it seems that the crossover event will go live on April 25, when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters.
