Fortnite: Risky Reels destroyed and replaced with player builds from Fortnite Creative

Fortnite Creative mode has leaked onto the Battle Royale map.

Epic Games has revealed that Risky Reels has been destroyed, and replaced with a rotating selection of player-created builds on an area named The Block.

Epic will select content from Fortnite Creative and drop them into the new area on the map, as shown in this short cinematic unveiled at The Game Awards.

To stand a chance of getting you creation on The Block, here's a few pointers and rules to stick to:

  • The Block is a 25x25 tile area on a flat section of your island. It’s very important that your creations can fit nicely on The Block.
  • Try to keep your ‘Memory Used’ less than 50,000. Efficiency is just as important as creativity!
  • Chests, floor loot and vehicle spawns will be determined by Epic. No need to include these.

Fortnite Creative went live alongside the Season 7 launch today, and allows players to build their own Fortnite island, spawn buildings, weapons, obstacle courses and chests, and share them on a Creative Server.

Season 7 kicked off with it's usual Battle Pass skins and weekly challenges, including where to dance on a crown of RVs.
