For Honor's Viking gameplay trailer is the most metal thing from E3
So far, For Honor has offered some compelling melee combat between knights and samurai warriors. But they may have their work cut out for them when the vikings arrive in their warships to utterly devastate the enemy.
For Honor takes place during the medieval period, as The Legion (knights), Chosen (samurai), and Warborn (viking) factions face against each other for supremacy. The Vikings are easily among the most brutal of these classes, battering down opponents and finishing them off with a swing of their battle axes. The video showcases a portion of For Honor's story campaign as a Viking warrior pushes through hordes of enemies before entering a duel with a final Chosen warrior.
While the finished game will include a story campaign, its primary focus seems to be melee-focused multiplayer matches where up to eight players can fight to the death using the same combat system. For Honor will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 14, 2017.
