For Honor closed Alpha contains three multiplayer maps, new heroes the Conqueror and Berserker
Ubisoft has shared more details on the upcoming For Honor closed Alpha.
According to the firm, the closed alpha will test a work-in-progress slice of the multiplayer in order to "generate feedback and assess stability."
Three out of the five multiplayer modes in For Honor will be available in the Alpha, including Duel (a 1v1 mode), Brawl (a 2v2 mode) and Dominion (a 4v4 mode), each with its own map.
During this test, the limited number of those chosen to participate will be able to try their hand at playing the Knight, Viking and Samurai factions. Playable heroes include the Kensei, Orochi, Warden and Raider, plus two brand-new warriors, Conqueror and Berserker.
The tester will also provide players a first look at the progression system as new abilities are unlocked along with new weapons and armor.
Each Hero comes with its own set of skills, weapons, armor, customization options and fighting styles. Spotlight videos for some of the playable Heroes were posted, and you can view them through the respective YouTube links. The Beserker is posted above.
The closed Alpha runs September 15-18 and if you have yet to sign up, you can do so through here.
For Honor will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on February 14.
