Football Manager 2013 to have '900 additions', Classic Mode for casual players
Football Manager 2013 developer Sports Interactive has stated that the game will have around 900 new features and additions over last year's release. New features will include Football Manager Classic - a streamlined edition for those without much time to spend - deeper training options and more.
In an official reveal trailer. Sports Interactive's studio director Miles Jacobson reeled off some key new additions, such as an overhauled 3D match engine, new staff positions at clubs, national tax policies for transfers, new UI design and global leaderboards.
Football Manager 2013's Classic mode lets players complete a full season in around 10 hours, delivers arcade challenges and microtransactions.
Jacobson said of Football Manager 2013's new, smaller 'Classic' mode "I would like to stress to our many, many fans around the world that the introduction of Football Manager Classic will not impact in any way on the game that they've come to know and love."
"For those who still want the full, 'hands-on' experience," he added, "FM13 offers exactly what they're looking for - a bigger, better and even more immersive version of the world's greatest football management simulation."
