Flight Control landing on PS3
Firemint, developer of the hugely popular iPhone and iPad game Flight Control, has confirmed the game is coming to PS3.
The developer broke the news to TSA, adding it will support both PlayStation Move, Dualshock 3 and stereoscopic 3D. The game will also run at 1080p.
Flight Control sees you take the role of an air traffic controller who is tasked with landing an increasing amount of aircraft and helicopters on the respective runways and landing pads. The idea is to successfully land without collision, something which becomes increasingly difficult as time goes on due to the sheer amount of on-screen madness.
The PS3 version will include support for both solo and co-op play, allowing you and up to four friends to play in a drop in/out style similar to Traveller's Tales LEGO games.
“Multiplayer is insanely fun, you can never be quite sure whether a new player is going to help or hinder your efforts so there tends to be a lot of laughing and jeering,” commented Firemint’s CEO, Rob Murray. “It’s turned Flight Control HD into an extremely social game.”
Flight Control will be released on September 15 via PSN.
