Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location - How to Survive Night 4 in the Springtrap Suit
Here's how to beat night four in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, including how to survive the Minireena onslaught and how to keep your suit's springlocks wound up.
Freddy Fazbear is back (sort of) in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. And if you thought moving game locations means you'd finally get a chance to eat lots of pizza, play skeeball, and gorge on arcade games, well, we have some bad news.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location is still populated by angry animatronics, it's still drowning in dark secrets, and there's still an excellent chance you're going to die. Over and over.
Sister Location actually features some new animatronics for you to make friends with (warning: Don't get too close), plus each night actually involves surviving a different game. No longer do you repeat the same actions over and over across the course of a week.
Sister Location's hardest minigame takes place on Night Four, when Baby stuffs you in a Springtrap suit. If you've played Five Nights at Freddy's 3, then you know what this entails. If you haven't, here's the scoop: Springtrap suits are notoriously sensitive animatronic / costume hybrids that will spring loose and clasp you like an iron maiden if you fail to keep the suit's bolts wound up.
As if that's not horrible enough on its own, Night Four of Sister Location pits you against the spider-like "Minireenas," tiny animatronics that are the servants of the ballerina animatronic, Ballora. The Minireenas crawl all over you and will jumpscare you to death if they're allowed to crawl up to face-level. However, if you shake them off too aggressively, you'll irritate the Minireenas crawling around your feet.
All the while, you need to keep the Springtrap suit's locks wound up. So you're in a bind.
Getting through Night Four of Sister Location is difficult, but it's not impossible.
The Basics of Survival
-There are four and a half Minireena "waves," and each one sends more and more Minireenas crawling on you. Keep that in mind as you play.
-To wind up the springlocks, keep your finger down on the mouse button and place your cursor over the circular locks on each side of the suit. There are five locks on each side. As soon as Baby recommends keeping the springlocks wound up, start doing so.
-Start at the top of the left side and work your way to the bottom. Then go to the top of the right side and repeat. Keep doing this all through the night.
-When the locks are at the 12 o'clock position, they're fully wound. They tick down slowly when they're not being wound up. During the first couple of waves you should be able to spend the time necessary to wind up each lock to the 12 o'clock position, but as things get more frantic, you probably won't have time to wind them up all the way (it's a bit like only having enough time to keep the Marionette's music box wound up part-way in the later nights of Five Nights at Freddy's 2).
Now that you have the basics down, here's the nitty gritty of survival.
