First Mario Kart 8 DLC has been released in North America

With today's weekly eShop update for North America, Nintendo has released the first DLC pack for Mario Kart 8.
It will run you $8 on Wii U and as previously reported, comes with new vehicles such as the Master Cycle, eight tracks and new characters.
The second batch of DLC is due in March.
