Finally, a Total War: Warhammer 2 trailer just for my people - lizards

Total War: Warhammer 2 lets you play as lizards so we're 100% onboard.

Total War: Warhammer 2 is already 5000% better than the first game, because it includes lizardfolk as one of the primary playable races. (In the Warhammer universe you have to call them Lizardmen, probably because Games Workshop tried or maybe even succeeded at trademarking it, but this is 2017.)

Creative Assembly has released a new in-engine cinematic for Total War: Warhammer 2, devoted solely to the race voted most likely to make Brenna slither off her heating couch and actually attempt to learn to play startegy games.

The video is stuffed full of magnificent lizards owning elves in a variety of compelling ways, as is their wont and perhaps true purpose in life. There's a big important lizard who looks a bit like a toad, and lizard warriors riding other, flying lizards. The elves try all sorts of nonsense to counter the lizard threat, but it is all in vain: where one lizard falls, many lizards will rise, and some of them will be enormous dinosaurs. That's the lizard way!

In short, this trailer is a good time for anyone who likes lizards (surely this is everyone?) and bodes well for Total War: Warhammer 2 being great when it releases this year for PC.

Not that anybody cares at all because they're going to choose lizards, but Total War: Warhammer 2's other playable races are high elves (led by Benedict Cumberbatch), dark elves and a fourth race yet to be revealed.

Judging by the little hint at the end of the debut Total War: Warhammer 2 cinematic, that fourth race might be Skaven.

That would be kind of nice. Rats are okay. Not as good as lizards, mind.
