Final Fantasy XIV patched to conclude A Relic Reborn quest

My friends, Final Fantasy XIV has been patched to 1.22c. The patch notes are a sea of incomprehensibility to me, but the main points seem to be a pile of new items; better options for sorting your inventory and Recruit panels; a boost to enfeebling magic; more Grand Company content; and the end of some epic quest which takes forever and gives you an amazing weapon. Final Fantasy XIV is expected to relaunch in 2.0 form early next year, along with a long delayed PS3 debut, but that hasn't stopped Square Enix plugging away with regular updates like this - which also includes a whack of bug fixes.
