Final Fantasy Type-0 HD PAX East trailer reminds you it is great
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD should be on your radar on its own merits, too.
Final Fantasy 15: Episode Duscae is probably a strong motivating factor for many purchases of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, since picking up the remaster is the only guaranteed way to get your hands on the taster.
But the hard-as-nails once-portable Final Fantasy is well worth a look on its own merits, too. Take a look at the latest trailer from PAX East 2015 and see if you aren't tempted:
I'm slightly worried that Type-0 HD will go the way of the original Crackdown, which so many gamers purchased for the bundled Halo 3 multiplayer beta code. It was a great game, but the disc just gathered dust because players assumed Microsoft felt it needed the marketing help.
In this case, Type-0 HD and FF15 are both directed by Hajime Tabata, and the demo is just a way of apologising to series fans who have been waiting so long for a new entry. The game itself is pretty awesome, and did not deserve to languish un-localised for so long.
Final fantasy Type-0 HD releases on PS4 and Xbox One on March 17 in North America and March 20 in Europe. Want to know more? Here's an overview trailer, and introductions to five characters.
