Final Fantasy Type-0 localisation still on the cards
Square Enix's Hajime Tabata has confirmed the publisher still plans to release Final Fantasy Type-0 in the west if possible.
A localised release for the PSP release was hinted at heavily more than a year ago, but has been off the radar ever since. Tabata told Gamespot not to give up hope.
"Due to market reasons, we are taking a clean slate in terms of our plans," the developer said.
"We feel strongly about bringing this title to the fans in North America and Europe, so if an opportunity arises that can become a conclusive factor, we are prepared to go into consideration right away."
Here's an opportunity: put it out on Vita with cross promotional DLC for Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns. You're welcome.
Final Fantasy Type-0 follows the adventures of a group of students; once part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis sequence with the title Final Fantasy Agito XIII, it later grew into its own product with some shared canon. It released in Japan in October 2011.
Thanks, Destructoid.
