Fast Travel can be used to travel around Final Fantasy 7 Remake's open world section. It isn't unlocked for quite some time however, as you'll need to reach a certain point to gain access to it. How to Fast Travel in Final Fantasy 7 Remake
To Use fast travel in Final Fantasy 7 Remake you will need to reach the final batch of side missions the game has to offer. This is just before the second to last mission, likely around 30 hours in for most people. You'll need to complete a specific sidequest, which you can read about here.
Where Can You Fast Travel?
If you want to fast travel somewhere, you'll need to head to a Chocobo Stop. There's one in each of the overworld areas, so you can easily travel between Sectors 5, 6, the collapsed tunnel, and the church. You can see a Chocobo Stop in the image below:
How Much Does it Cost to Fast Travel?
Before you complete the side quest mentioned earlier, fast travelling will cost you 300 Gil. After that though it is completely free.
