FIFA 13 Kinect features video includes vindictive umpires
FIFA 13's Kinect support includes such delights as referees getting snarky at you if you swear.
Mainly, the voice recognition is used so the player can choose formations, make substitutions and call plays.
Unfortunately, it also lets the umpires hear when you vent after a bad call. You won't be penalised immediately for letting out a bit of blue language, but it may harden the ref's heart towards you next time.
Is the first step towards a FIFA game with better "usability"? Or progres towards the singularity and our eventual future as slaves to robot kind?
FIFA 13 answers some of these questions on 3DS, DS, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, Wii U and Xbox 360 in northern autumn.
Thanks, Joystiq.
