FFXI Ultimate Collection really is ultimate

As FFXIV's out next year, it's not the most surprising thing in the world that Suare's decided to drop its pants on FFXI products - say hello to the MMO's Ultimate Collection.

The just-announced download is to include the game, all four expansions and three extra scenario.

London (23rd October 2009) – Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces that the entire FINAL FANTASY® XI universe, including all previous expansion packs and add-on scenarios, will be available for the first time ever in one download from 12th November 2009. FINAL FANTASY XI ULTIMATE COLLECTION will be available exclusively for Windows® download.

The Ultimate Collection will include the original FINAL FANTASY XI and all four expansion packs to take your adventure even further. These include Rise of the Zilart™, Chains of Promathia™, Treasures of Aht Urhgan™ and Wings of the Goddess™, plus three recently released add-on scenarios comprising “A Crystalline Prophecy™ - Ode of Life Bestowing,” “A Moogle Kupo d’Etat™ - Evil in Small Doses,” and “A Shantotto Ascension™ - The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born.”

FINAL FANTASY XI takes you into the world of Vana’diel® during the aftermath of a great war, as you answer a desperate call to defend your people. Unite with other warriors as they save their world from utter destruction.
