FF Agito XIII will have "unique" multiplayer system

Final Fantasy Agito XIII director Hajime Tabata has revealed the game will have a unique multiplayer system.

He made his comments in the latest issue of Famitsu.

"Agito XIII isn't going to be the typical kind of multiplayer game where people gather around and play together," he said to the mag.

"It'll have something unique and exclusive to itself."

He added Agito's development is "going along smoothly."

"Occasionally I talk a little bit about how it's going on The 3rd Birthday's [Japanese] Twitter account, but development's going along smoothly, and it's going to be a really intense game, the sort where you're using the Fire spell like a gun in a shooter."

Agito will get its full blowout next month at an event in Japan alongside PS3 title Versus XIII.
