How to Craft Explosives in Far Cry 5
In Far Cry 5 you can craft explosives, which comes in very handy while you're out and about taking on the cult and the many dangerous wild animals. We've listed the craftable explosives for you just below.
To access the crafting menu, bring up your weapon wheel then highlight the bottom left or bottom right options, then use the directional pad/buttons to scroll through the options. Items that can be crafted will be noted.
- Molotov - 2x Liquor + 2x Fasteners
- Remote Explosive - 2x Fasteners + 2x Nitro + 2x Blasting Cap
- Proximity Explosive - 2x Casing + 2x Nitro + 2x Blasting Cap
- Dynamite - 2x Fasteners + 2x Casing + 2x Nitro
How to Craft Homeopathics in Far Cry 5
You might not be aware of this as Far Cry 5 does a pretty terrible job of explaining it, but you can craft and use four homeopathic remedies. Using these gives your character a temporary boost in a certain area or gives a short-lived new ability. We've detailed the four below. You can access these from page 2 of the weapon wheel, each needing a bunch of ingredients to craft.
The Furious
- Increases melee attack damage for a limited time
- 2x Bliss Oil
- 2x Prairie Fire
The Fast
- Increases your speed for a limited time.
- 2x Bliss Oil
- 2x Jimson Weed
Ultimate Hunter
- Automatically tag all animals and enemies in your sight and make the predator flee.
- 2x Prairie Fire
- 2x Mustard
- 2x Jimson Weed
Ultimate Survivor
- Reduce considerably the damage you take.
- 2x Lupine
- 2x Prickly Lettuce
- 2x Bliss Oil
You can also craft liquor and 'oregano', each giving you temporary innebreation. You can craft them from the same menu as the homeopathics, but each only takes one item (liquor or oregano) to craft.
Can you Craft Medkits in Far Cry 5?
It's pretty easy to take a lot of damage in Far Cry 5, so you'll be wanting to make use of medkits. With that being said, you'd assume you're able to craft medkits in Far Cry 5, but you can't. It's not possible to craft medkits in Far Cry 5, which is pretty bizarre. Medkits can be bought from shops/sellers, or found lying around in the game world, but can't be crafted.
